The above criteria are a guide only as to the circumstances we will consider when reviewing a pre-existing condition, and that not all pre-existing conditions will be open to review. Please contact us to find out more.
If your pre-existing condition is eligible for review, we’ll need you to provide us with appropriate medical documentation so we can decide whether it can be removed or amended. We’ll be in touch to let you know what documentation we need.
Once we’ve received that documentation, we'll decide, acting reasonably, whether to remove or change the exclusion related to your pre-existing condition, and we’ll let you know our decision. If we decide to remove or change the exclusion, related to your pre-existing condition, we'll send you an updated membership certificate reflecting these changes in your cover.
Please get in touch if you’d like to know more about the review process, how to initiate a review and what documentation we’ll need.
